Popular OTT platform Chorki has officially announced the release of ‘Myself Allen Swapan 2’, the much-anticipated second season of its hit web series. The show is scheduled to premiere during Eid-ul-Fitr, continuing the gripping story of the enigmatic character Allen Swapan.
Unravelling the Mystery
The first season of ‘Myself Allen Swapan’ left audiences on edge with its final scene, where Swapan was seen in conversation with a mysterious masked figure, sparking curiosity about the character’s future. The new season promises to dive deeper into the storyline, uncovering unanswered questions and exploring Swapan’s growing influence.
Chorki confirmed the news through its verified Facebook page on Friday, 14th March, sharing an announcement video. The teaser clip features Allen Swapan, played by Nasir Uddin Khan, standing amidst scattered cash, dressed in his signature safari suit, wearing his trademark smirk.
A voice in the Chattogram dialect demands,
“Where is my 400 crore taka?”
To this, Swapan coolly responds,
“Because of you, I had to come out. Myself Shamsur Rahman Swapan, aka Allen Swapan.”
A More Ruthless Allen Swapan
The first season showcased Swapan’s transformation from a small-time drug dealer in Chattogram to a key player in a money-laundering network. This season is expected to expand on his criminal empire, revealing how his strategies and operations evolve.
Actor Nasir Uddin Khan hinted that his character will be darker and more ruthless than before:
“Viewers already know that Allen Swapan is not a good guy. In this season, he will appear even more merciless, while retaining his mischievous nature. Overall, the character is returning on a much larger scale.”
